in no particular order
- The judges. They’re cheerleaders for everyone, with the exception of Haley.
- The voting system. The voting system allows for the teenagers who watch American Idol to vote for hours, and teenagers have alot more free time to vote than the adults who may watch the show, who really understand talent.
- The producer manipulation. The producers give the judges notes, the judges look down at those notes while giving their critique. The producers give certain people the pimp spot based on who they want to go on and who they want to go home.
- The elimination process at Top 24. That was just stupid, like congratulations you made it to the Top 24, next week…goodbye to 11 of you.
There’s so much that goes on that the camera doesn’t capture, and I’m not accusing AI of messing with the votes, but they definitely mess with people’s minds, because American Idol wants a winner with a viable career so they can keep their ratings, therefore keeping their money. I just want some dramatic changes for next year. I don’t want to see another brilliantly talented singer like Haley be constantly attacked by the production next year.
This is so spot on! I really enjoyed the pool of talent this year, so I was sad to see many great contestants get screwed over by a deeply flawed system.

his recount about the Romanian Kat who does not, in fact, have a passport, and is God’s child (the responsibility) is the single most amazing tale ever told in the history of amazing tales ever told.
i am serious.
Tom Hardy, your ridiculous existence makes me simultaneously want to claw my face in confusion and clutch at my chest in sheer glee how are you real
