I just finished watching the pilot episode of Nandito Ako.

This show seems promising! I wasn’t sure if I’d be into a mini-series like this, but there’s enough drama to keep me interested. The flashback to young Josh and Anya’s (the two lead characters) encounter with the hotel fire was so sad. It’ll be interesting to see how they interact as adults. Even though I don’t understand a word of Tagalog, I don’t think it will be too much of a challenge to follow the story. Just gotta pay more attention to the body language, music, and other cues.

Josh’s Uncle Steve gives off super sketchy vibes. He looks so similar to another American actor who I can’t recall right now. Joel McHale? I don’t know…

In the five minutes that he was on screen, David Archuleta has already shown great improvement with his acting. And how stunning is Jasmine Curtis Smith?

• How long will the mini-series be running for? Two weeks? Four weeks? More?
• When is the finale airing?
